How does the online purchase work?

Follow these steps to buy your ski pass online:

1. Register or log in to your account
2. Choose the type of ski pass to buy
3. Add product to cart
4. Configure your ski pass, the important information you will need to enter are: who will use the ticket, register/ connect or buy the keycard, accept terms and conditions. You can add Cancellation Protection and Snowcare insurance if you wish
5. Proceed to payment by credit card Visa, Mastercard or American Express

What is a keycard and where can I find the number to register?

The keycard is the magnetic card where the skipass is reloaded.

You will find your keycard number on the back of your ski pass card. You must enter it with dashes and without spaces.


Can I reload different tickets on the same keycard?

No. It is not possible to reload a keycard with different tickets, each skier must have one.
The system allows to recharge the same keycard with tickets for the same skier, with different validity dates, but could create technical problems access to the gate.

Can I buy multiple tickets in one transaction?

Sure! After adding the first ski pass to your cart, just click on "Continue shopping" and you can continue with your purchase. After adding all the ski passes you need click on "go to checkout" to proceed to the configuration phase.

How does the cancellation protection work?

The Cancellation Protection allows you to request the cancellation of your purchase up to 5 days before your skipass validity start date. You can only associate it to the entire order and not to the single ski pass and the refund will be issued by voucher valid until the end of the next winter season.
If you have made a purchase with Cancellation Protection and want to request a refund, log in into your account and click on "order history". Choose the order you would like to cancel, click "View" and then on "Request order cancellation". You can choose to cancel the whole order or only a single skipass.
The system will automatically charge the amount you are entitled to into your virtual wallet. The value of the voucher will include the cost of the ski pass, any insurance and keycard and will be net of the cost of the Cancellation Protection itself.



Will I be sent a purchase confirmation email?

After completing the purchase you will receive an email receipt, where you will find all the details related to your purchase and possibly the QR-Code to collect your ski pass at the ticket office, if you have also purchased the Keycard.
Remember to check your spam box in case you don’t see the receipt within a few minutes on your inbox.

Are there any refunds?

No, there are no refunds unless you have purchased the Cancellation Protection that allows you to cancel your order within 5 days before the validity start date of your ski pass.

The refund will be issued by voucher valid until the end of the next winter season that you can use, as well as to buy products on our webshop, in partner businesses. You can find the list of our parners here.

Only in event of partial or total lifts closure due to wind, will be recognized, to daily or multi-day ski pass holders who will request it until the end of the current winter season, some single-use vouchers redeemable online on Monterosa Ski shops or in the parner businesses. I'm experiencing some troubles with my purchase, what should I do?

If you are experiencing some troubles with your purchase, please try these tips:

  • check that the 3D secure is active on your credit card
  • check the expense limit of your credit card
  • check your internet connection

What time does the morning ski pass end and what time does the afternoon ski pass start?

The validity of the morning ski pass ends at 1pm, while the afternoon ski pass starts at 12pm.

Can I take the lifts if I don't ski?

I have purchased my skipass online but I need an invoice, what should I do?

Send us an email to monterosaski@visitmonterosa.com indicating your order number and invoice data within 5 days of purchase.

I'm disabled: can I purchase my skipass online?

In order to get the discount of 50%, you have to buy your ski pass at the ticket office, by showing the following documentation:

- european disability card
-  a certificate attesting the percentage of invalidity; to get the reduction, the percentage must be equal or greater than 67%

I would like to gift a ski pass, how can I do?

We do not have open-date ski passes but you can buy, through our webshop, a gift card of 50 € or multiples.

What is the difference between the Monterosa Ski and the Monterosa Freeride skipass?

Monterosa Ski Pass
Ideal for those looking for a complete experience in the main areas of the area, the Monterosa Ski skipass offers you access to the slopes of:
• Champoluc-Frachey
• Gressoney-La-Trinité
• Alagna Valsesia
In addition, you can explore satellite ski areas such as Antagnod, Brusson, Gressoney-Saint-Jean, Champorcher and Alpe di Mera.
Please note: this ski pass does not include the lift to the Indren glacier.

Monterosa Freeride Paradise ski pass
If you want to go off-piste skiing and the Indren glacier, then the Monterosa Freeride Paradise is for you. With this ski pass you can access the entire area and climb up to the glacier, an exclusive experience for those who seek pure emotions.

In short:
• If you like freeriding or want to explore the Indren glacier, opt for the Freeride Paradise.
• If you prefer a day on the traditional slopes, the Monterosa Ski skipass is the right one.
